ExxonMobil: Unexpected Energy
Improving corporate reputation by highlighting innovation and investments in alternative energy.
ExxonMobil partnered with T Brand to develop a content series exploring the company’s impact in developing future sustainable energy solutions through their innovation and investments in alternative energy, particularly biofuels.
We developed a creative ecosystem centered around a long form article and two videos exploring how scientists are tapping algae and plant waste to fuel a sustainable energy future. The team developed 3D illustrations and 3D printed objects to create a cohesive visual world that lended itself well to print, digital and video executions.
The content was amplified through sustained digital media, Daily Briefing newsletter placements, print ads in the New York Times, and audio in “The Daily.”
Algae are tiny, but potentially mighty. They grow in saltwater and can produce bio-oil that one day could fuel our transportation needs. See how ExxonMobil is researching this renewable fuel.
Scientists at ExxonMobil are working to transform plant waste into biofuel. What they create could one day be used to power jets, trucks and trains, all while producing fewer emissions.
